The Yale Environment 360 Film Contest, now in its eleventh year, is open for submissions. This contest seeks to recognize outstanding environmental films from around the globe, showcasing work that has not yet received widespread exposure.
The panel of judges for the contest includes Roger Cohn, Executive Editor of Yale Environment 360, Pulitzer Prize winner and e360 contributor Elizabeth Kolbert, and Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Thomas Lennon.
Benefits:
- First place: $3,000
- Second place: $2,000
- Third place: $1,000
- Winning entries will be featured on the Yale Environment 360 platform.
Requirements:
- Submitted films should address an environmental issue and not exceed a length of 20 minutes.
- Films primarily funded by an organization or company and focused on promoting that entity are ineligible for entry.
