The scholarships provided by the University of Oulu, Finland, aim to support academically talented international students who are not citizens of an EU/EEA member state and are thus subject to tuition fees.
These Finland scholarships are intended for students pursuing a Master’s degree in the University of Oulu’s two-year international Master’s programmes. The scholarship extends for one academic year, covering the entire international tuition fee.
To maintain the scholarship in the subsequent academic year, students must have completed 55 ECTS by the conclusion of the previous academic year. Failure to meet this requirement will result in full international tuition fees unless the student has received approved leave from studies (e.g., due to severe illness).
Benefits
The scholarship covers the academic tuition fee only and does not include living expenses such as housing, meals, and transportation, which students are responsible for financing independently.
