The UNESCO-UNEVOC TVET Leadership Programme seeks to strengthen the abilities of TVET leaders worldwide, assisting them in becoming successful and effective change agents in their institutions and beyond. The program is intended to refresh participants’ awareness of the most recent advances in TVET and to provide them with the skills and tools needed for effective leadership in the TVET sector.
Since its inception in 2016, the TVET Leadership Program has educated over 700 TVET leaders, managers, and staff from over 95 countries. This comprises worldwide and regional editions of the program, which are delivered in person and online. The 2022 edition trained 140 people from 61 different nations.
The program is designed for mid-to senior-level TVET professionals who work in the following functional roles:
- Leadership and administration of TVET, skills, or employment systems or institutions; policy formulation or execution; monitoring and evaluation; and
- Management of networks and partnerships

Requirements
- Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Interest and capacity to create change in the TVET area, skills, or employment systems or institutions;
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the TVET sector, skills, or employment systems or institutions is required, as well as proficiency in written and spoken English.
