Job Description:
- Support the team to generate new leads, identify and screen potential business opportunities, engage stakeholders, and build partnerships.
- Manage the proposal response process, including specific RFP criteria, content production, and feedback from several sources.
- Support the negotiation of gas supply, gas transportation, Power Sale, and EPC agreements on behalf of the generation companies. This includes MOUs, JVAs, or other types of negotiations that may be required.
- Recommend growth strategies, optimization plans, and cost/loss reduction initiatives for the operating companies in power distribution and generation.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of corporate plans in order to accomplish strategic objectives.
- Track project/initiative activities and performance effectively, and report metrics to support decision-making and follow-up.
- Monitor and assess industry trends and consumer drivers, and meet with managers and stakeholders regularly to discuss strategy.
- Development of ideas and presentations for new business materials in order to generate and nurture business possibilities and relationships.
- Maintain and share professional knowledge through learning sessions, networking, events, and presentations.
- Undertake other duties commensurate with this position as designated by the company.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of working experience in similar/relevant roles in the power sector or related
- Experience in a gas commercial with understanding and experience in natural gas sales and negotiation
- Experience with the development and implementation of business development strategy
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively and handle conflict resolution
- Commercially savvy in engaging customers, internal and external stakeholders; building strong and trusted networks.
- Possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully connect with all levels of management, personnel, and stakeholders.

Accountabilities
- Project Monitoring and supervision of low-mid level projects and its associated costs whilst offering supervising oversight in the preparation of documentation and correspondence in line with policy and organizational requirements to support information flow and escalate and divert concerns as needed in order to provide accurate and timely reporting.
- Daily updates and database maintenance for business stakeholders, as well as effective management of the company’s repository of current applicable laws, rules, processes, guidelines, and business records, to guarantee all information is accessible and kept appropriately.
- Assist the department in tracking performance/activities on different current projects and reporting metrics to aid decision-making and follow-up. This necessitates good coordination with other SPG departments to ensure that activities are tracked in order to offer day-to-day administration and monitoring of SPG/OPCO initiatives.
- Review and help with project paperwork, including professional presentation planning and preparation, green and brownfield project proposals, management feedback, and internal knowledge and information exchange.
