We are delighted to announce the initiation of the African Gifted Academy and Murtala Muhammed Foundation Scholarship Program! This initiative is dedicated to supporting young Nigerian girls from low-income backgrounds who exhibit a passion for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) by offering them a full scholarship to the African Science Academy in Ghana. The objective of the 2024 Murtala Muhammed Foundation Scholarship is to offer financial assistance to qualified individuals who demonstrate a strong passion for STEM fields. Through this program, we aspire to empower young African women to pursue their academic and professional aspirations in STEM fields. Requirements:
To qualify for the undergraduate Murtala Muhammed Foundation Scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Gender: Female individuals of African descent aged between 16 and 19 years.
- Education: Completion of Senior High School, IGCSES, O-Level, or equivalent by July 2024.
- Academic Achievement: Demonstrated proficiency in Physics and Mathematics with an A or B grade in WAEC or an equivalent examination.
- Passion and Curiosity: Displayed enthusiasm and keen interest in STEM fields. Applicants planning to pursue studies at any African university are eligible for the Murtala Muhammed Foundation Scholarship.
