Written by admin

IRI is currently welcoming applications for the third cohort of the IRI McCain Fellowship for Freedom. The IRI McCain Fellowship for Freedom (MFF) unites emerging leaders from across the globe in continuing the legacy of IRI’s Chairman, Senator John McCain, who served for 25 years, in nurturing a new generation of democratic leaders on a global scale.

Since 2019, IRI has been dedicated to transforming Senator McCain’s vision of promoting worldwide political and economic freedom into reality through the McCain Fellowship for Freedom. Established to honor Senator McCain’s unwavering belief that “free markets are not possible without free people,” the Fellowship assembles young leaders worldwide who are committed to advancing democracy and economic freedom. These leaders engage with policymakers, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and fellow changemakers, exchanging ideas and insights on the most effective methods for promoting democracy and citizen-focused governance. To date, IRI has welcomed 16 global leaders from 15 different nations in the program’s previous iterations.
