Graduate Study in South Korea: 2024 Global Korea Scholarship Program

In 2024, the Korean government plans to extend invitations to 2,200 international students for the 2024 Global Korea Scholarship program for graduate degrees. Applicants have the option to apply either through a Korean Embassy in their home country (embassy track) or directly to designated universities (university track). For inquiries regarding the application process (e.g., application deadline, submission method, additional required documents, authentication, translation certificates, etc.), please reach out directly to the respective embassy or university, as they will oversee the initial selection process.

Program Overview

One-year Korean language program

Master’s Degree: Two years of degree program
Doctoral Degree: Three-year degree program
Research Program: Six months or one year

Selection Criteria

Interviews will be conducted via Zoom with a limited number of applicants who meet the application deadline and pass the documentation review.
It is important to note that failure to meet any of the qualifications outlined in the Application Guidelines will result in automatic disqualification.
