The British Research Council is sponsoring eligible students for the Swansea University ESPRC Scholarship, a fully funded opportunity at the UK-based university. The scholarship covers the full cost of tuition fees and provides an annual stipend of £19,237 for four years.
Requirements To be considered for the Swansea University ESPRC Scholarship, applicants must:
- Hold an undergraduate degree at a 2.1 level (or non-UK equivalent as defined by Swansea University) in chemistry or a related subject,
- OR a master’s degree with a minimum overall grade of ‘Merit’ in chemistry or a related subject (or non-UK equivalent as defined by Swansea University),
- Meet the Swansea University’s English language competency criteria.

Required Documents To apply, candidates must submit the following:
- CV
- Degree certificates and transcripts (screenshots of current grades are acceptable if still studying)
- Cover letter including:
- A ‘Supplementary Personal Statement’ explaining why the position suits their skills and experience and how they plan to develop the project.
- Two references (academic or prior job) on letterhead or via the Swansea University reference form.
- Evidence of meeting English language requirements (if applicable).
- Copy of UK resident visa (if applicable).
- Confirmation of EDI form submission (optional).
