The King Abdullah University Internship is a fully funded program designed for international undergraduate and postgraduate students to gain research experience in Saudi Arabia. Offered annually by the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), the program covers all expenses, including travel, accommodation, and a living stipend of $1000.
Internship Details:
The Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP) provides students with the opportunity to conduct innovative research at KAUST. Through this internship, students can pursue research across various disciplines under the guidance of KAUST faculty mentors.
Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for the KAUST Internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Undergraduate students in their third year or above, as well as Master’s students (PhD candidates, current KAUST students, and alumni are ineligible)
- Minimum GPA of 3.5/4 or 14/20 (ECTS B)
- Proficient in verbal and written English skills

- Upon approval, you will receive an email acceptance letter following the interview.
- Finally, a travel advisor will assist you with relocation to the KAUST campus.
