The British Council International Collaboration Grants are currently open for the second round. This £1 million grant initiative facilitates the development of fresh cultural partnerships between UK artists, arts practitioners, and institutions, and their counterparts globally.
International Collaboration:
Proposals should exhibit authentic international collaboration and offer tangible advantages to both participating UK artists/organizations and their international collaborators. Projects can explore any theme, and applicants are encouraged to outline their commitment to diversity, inclusion, and environmental sustainability throughout the project implementation.
Participating Countries:
Each project should involve at least one organization based in the UK and one organization from the countries listed below as part of the collaboration:
Albania, Algeria, Argentina, Bangladesh, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Brazil, Mainland China, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kosovo, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Montenegro, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia,Mexico, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Pakistan, Peru, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Philippines, Serbia, Senegal, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Syria, Thailand, Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen, and Zimbabwe.
