The Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCO), operator of Oil Mining Lease 118, in partnership with Nigerian Agip Exploration, TotalEnergies Nigeria, and Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria (Deepwater) Limited, under a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) with Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC), invites applications from qualified Nigerian students for the 2024 NNPC – SNEPCo National University Scholarship Programme.
This programme seeks to encourage academic success and improve the abilities of young Nigerians. It offers an annual scholarship to outstanding students from their second year till the end of their undergraduate degree program.
Eligible undergraduate students studying NUC-accredited courses in Nigerian universities are encouraged to submit an electronic application.

Requirements: The merit-based scholarship is open to FULL-TIME undergraduates studying at Nigerian universities.
- Must be a Nigerian citizen.
- Currently in their second year of full-time study at an NUC-accredited Nigerian university.
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5-grade system or equivalent.
- Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship from an organization in the Oil and Gas industry, whether national or international.
Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Selection Process:
- Examination details will be communicated only to shortlisted candidates.
- Applications must be received by the specified deadline through the scholarship portal only.
- Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be invited to participate in a monitored computer-based test.
- The top 10 candidates from each of the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory will be shortlisted for academic verification before the scholarship offer.
- Candidates with falsified results will be disqualified.
- Only candidates who successfully meet the criteria will be contacted to receive the scholarship award.
- All scholars must maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 per session on a 5-grade system, or its equivalent, to continue receiving the award.

- Recent passport-sized photograph in JPEG format, not exceeding 200 kilobytes.
- University or JAMB Admission Letter.
- Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) Result.
- O’ Level Result(s) and, if applicable, ‘A’ Level / OND / NCE Result(s).
- Letter of Identification from State of Origin indicating the local government of origin.
- Cumulative Grade Point Average after the first year (results of at least 2 academic semesters).

- Log in using your registered email and password to upload your information.
- Download, correctly fill, and upload the signed Government Official Declaration Form from https://dragnetscreening.ng/files/SNEPCoGOform.pdf.
- Enter your personal information, National Identification Number, educational information, and other required details, then upload the scanned documents.
- Ensure the name used in your application matches the names on all documents. If not, upload a sworn affidavit or certificate.
- Verify all uploaded documents for clarity and accuracy.
- Upload a passport photograph with a white background when prompted.
- Recheck the application information for errors.
- Click “Apply Now” to submit your application.
- You will receive an email and SMS confirming your successful application.
- Return to https://candidate.scholastica.ng/, enter your email and password to download your profile, and have your Head of Department sign it.
- Upload a scanned copy of the signed profile for verification.
