Bond University Vice
The esteemed Vice Chancellor’s Elite Scholarship is granted annually to a select few highly accomplished candidates. Selection is based on outstanding academic performance, leadership qualities, and exemplary character, making it a full-fee scholarship.
Currently, applications are open to interested and eligible candidates who meet the criteria.
Benefits:
- As a Vice Chancellor’s Elite Scholar, you will receive 100% tuition coverage for any single or approved combined undergraduate degree (excluding the Bond Medical Program and Diploma entry students).
- Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in the Vice Chancellor’s Mentoring Program upon starting at Bond University. This program pairs each scholar with a prominent corporate mentor, fostering industry connections, networks, and business acumen. These mentors, esteemed senior executives, dedicate their time during the first year of study to guide Vice Chancellor’s Elite Scholars, preparing them for successful careers post-university.
- It’s essential to commence studies in the January semester following completion of Year 12, and deferral to a later semester is unfortunately not permitted.
Requirements:
- To qualify for this scholarship, you need to be a local student in the final year of Year 12 at an Australian secondary school.
- You must be predicted to achieve a minimum ATAR of 95.00 or an IB Diploma score of 38.
- You should possess a demonstrated track record of leadership, initiative, and community service within your school or community.
- It’s crucial to maintain the same level of academic and personal excellence that distinguished you as an applicant upon starting your studies at Bond University.
Selection Criteria
Vice Chancellor’s Elite Scholars are chosen based on outstanding academic performance, demonstrated leadership qualities, and personal integrity. They are also recognized by their educators and peers for their dedication to their community and their willingness to support and motivate others.
Please be aware that if you are shortlisted for this scholarship, attendance at a selection weekend, scheduled at Bond University on Saturday, September 21st, and Sunday, September 22nd, 2024, is mandatory. This weekend serves as an integral part of the selection process for shortlisted candidates, and the University will cover all associated travel and accommodation expenses. Further details will be provided to those who are shortlisted.
Application Requirements
As an applicant for the Vice Chancellor’s Elite Scholarship, you must provide the following documents with your application:
- Evidence showcasing your leadership, initiative, and community service. It is mandatory to utilize our Summary of Achievements template to present this evidence. You must complete all sections of the provided template and upload it as a single Word or PDF document to your scholarship application. Your application will not be considered if you present your evidence in any other format, such as a personal CV or resume.
- Responses to the following two academic questions:
1. Describe an instance where you faced failure and what lessons you gained from it. Provide a 250-word academic response in paragraph form.
2. Collaborating in teams is a valuable aspect both socially and professionally. Reflect on a successful team experience you were part of and discuss the factors that contributed to your team’s success. Offer a 250-word academic response in paragraph form.
Your responses should be entered into the designated fields in your scholarship application. We recommend drafting your responses in a separate Word document before copying and pasting them into the relevant sections of your application.
- A reference from your school. As part of your application, you will need to provide the details of your career advisor. We will contact them directly to request a reference.

1. Complete the Bond University Study Application Form to initiate your application for your desired program. For further information regarding this process, please refer to our guidelines.
2. Fill out the Bond University Scholarship Application Form. You can easily access this form using the same login credentials used for your study application. In the “Start an Application” tab, enter ‘scholarship’ in the keyword field.
Ensure that you finalize and submit your scholarship application before the specified closing date, as late submissions will not be considered!
