Nigerian Bureau’s PLC Industrial Training Fund NECA 2024 Technical Skill Development Program for Nigerians

Applications are now being accepted for the 2024 Nigerian Breweries Plc/Industrial Training Fund (ITF) & NECA-Technical Skills Development Programme. This collaboration between the ITF-NECA Technical Skills Development Programme and Nigerian Breweries presents a comprehensive seven-month training initiative.

The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), in partnership with Nigerian Breweries Plc, are seeking applications from qualified young Nigerians with sound character and learning potential for an intensive 7-month training programme focused on Technical Skills Development in Mechanical/Automation Maintenance & Engineering.

Objectives:

  • To provide training and equip youths with employable technical and science skills.
  • To foster a Public-Private Sector Model in Vocational/Technical Skills Training and contribute to the capacity development of the country.

Programme Details:

Successful candidates will receive free tuition and lunch. The programme is non-residential, with training conducted at the Supply Chain Academy of Nigerian Breweries Plc and attachment opportunities at any of our Brewery Locations. Trainees will not receive a salary during the training period but will be provided with a monthly stipend.

It’s important to note that participation in this programme does not confer Nigerian Breweries employee status on the trainees.

Requirements

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must meet the following qualifications, among others:

  • A credit pass in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • Possession of a Higher National Diploma or its equivalent in any of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Physics, Instrument Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, with a minimum of Lower credit from recognized and accredited institutions.
  • Graduation not earlier than 2020.
  • Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at the time of this advertisement.
