We are pleased to introduce the inaugural call for applications for the ESI Research Grant designed for undergraduate students in Nigeria. Eligible students currently engaged in their undergraduate research projects within any science program at a Nigerian University stand the chance to receive a maximum of #50,000. This grant will contribute towards covering a portion of the consumables budget for successful applicants.
Requirements:
- Must be an undergraduate enrolled in a Nigerian University
- Must be in their final year of undergraduate study.
- Must have commenced or will commence their undergraduate research project on or before May 2024
- Must be pursuing a course in biological or physical sciences
Application Requirements:
- Personal Statement: A statement outlining why you are deserving of the grant and a detailed breakdown of your proposed budget, not exceeding #50,000. The statement should be no more than 200 words.
- Supporting Statement: A statement from your supervisor endorsing your application. This statement should also be no more than 200 words.
