Miss Sustainable Development Goals (MSDG) Nigeria emerged from the Miss Global Goals International pageant (MGGIP), which empowers women to build the confidence needed to pursue their aspirations, address inequality, eradicate poverty, and combat climate change by 2030.

The MSDGN pageant welcomes Nigerian women aged 18 to 30 from across the globe who are dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and are committed to making positive changes in their communities. The winners exemplify outstanding qualities and serve as role models for young women nationally and internationally. The pageant emphasizes sustainability and social responsibility, with contestants evaluated not only on their physical appearance but also on their understanding of the SDGs and their plans to contribute to achieving these goals.

The crowned queen will receive a cash prize of 1 million naira, along with a trophy, crown, robe, scepter, flowers, wardrobe gifts, a one-year makeup opportunity, a vacation trip, modeling opportunities, sponsorship, an exciting regional royalty trip, and more.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must fall within the age range of 18 to 30 years old (those under 18 require consent from parents/guardians/sponsors).
  • Must be of Nigerian nationality, regardless of residency.
  • Must not be pregnant.
  • Must have strong physical and mental health.
  • Contestants should demonstrate good character, as well as facial and bodily attractiveness.
  • Must have at least completed secondary/high school education and possess proficient communication skills.

  • To apply for the Miss SDG Nigeria Pageant, complete the online form. There is no fee for submissions.
  • Additionally, create a 60-second video introducing yourself, including your name, age, occupation, a brief background, and explaining why you aspire to become the next Miss Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Nigeria.
  • Contestants should anticipate questions primarily focused on current events related to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Personal Advocacy, Social and Cultural Awareness, Personal Growth and Development, Leadership and Community Engagement, Women’s Empowerment, and Environmental Awareness and Conservation within Nigeria.
  • The overall winner will have the opportunity to compete internationally alongside winners from other countries at the Miss Global Goals International event, which will take place in either Sweden or the USA.
