Applications are currently open for the 2024 African German Young Leaders in Business (AGYLE) Programme. AGYLE serves as a platform for uniting young leaders from Africa and Germany to establish long-term business connections. By facilitating direct interaction and collaborative exchange between selected African nations and Germany, AGYLE fosters the cultivation of innovative ideas and projects, thereby laying the groundwork for sustainable economic collaboration. The AGYLE network includes young leaders from Ethiopia, Senegal, Tunisia, Ghana, Rwanda, and Germany.
AGYLE is funded by the Agency for Business and Economic Development (AWE) and Germany – Land of Ideas. The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) funds AWE, which is also sponsored by GIZ and DEG Impulse.
Eligibility Criteria:
- You are a young leader, aged up to 40 years.
- Your background is in business, politics, or the media.
- You are involved in pioneering solutions within the realm of circular economy.
- You are from Ethiopia, Ghana, Rwanda, Senegal, Tunisia, or Germany.
- You are committed to actively engaging in the Young Leaders Alumni Network. (Prior experience, existing collaborations, or projects in Africa are not prerequisites.)
