The GCRA is tasked with cultivating a pool of skilled, competent, and ethical professionals for the Gauteng City Region. This is achieved through various initiatives, including bursaries, internships, learnerships, skills programs, and more.
The GCRA bursary program is open to all eligible youth, with a specific preference for youth from Gauteng, who aspire to pursue undergraduate and/or post-graduate studies at a duly accredited and enrolled in a Post School Education and Training institution in South Africa. The bursary covers the full cost of tuition, subject to conditions outlined in the bursary agreement.
- The top three Grade 12 students from every No-Fee paying, SSIP, and LSEN government school in Gauteng have the opportunity to receive a scholarship for further studies at a recognized Institution of higher education or technical and vocational training colleges.
