Empowering Nigerian Entrepreneurs: Providous Bank’s 2024 SME Programme

Applications are currently open for the 4th Cohort of the PROVIDUS BANK SME PROGRAM. ProvidusBank, in collaboration with the Enterprise Development Centre, has established the ProvidusBank SME Program with the aim of enhancing the capabilities of business owners in Nigeria. This initiative seeks to equip them with the necessary skills and competencies to develop long-term strategic plans for the growth and profitability of their businesses.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The business owner must be a Nigerian citizen or a legal resident.
  • The business must be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria.
  • The business must operate for profit in any sector.
  • The applicant must be available to commit to the training schedule upon acceptance.
  • The business must have been operational for a minimum of 5 years.
  • The business should have a and turnover ranging from 25 to 50 million naira.
  • The applicant must maintain financial records.

Program Benefits:

This program aims to assist businesses in achieving the following objectives:

  • Develop a growth plan tailored to their businesses.
  • Enhance the leadership capabilities of participants to effectively manage their teams.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of their business.
  • Implement structures that ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Devise a ‘go-to-market’ strategy for their products and services.
  • Receive one-on-one business advisory to address company-specific challenges.
  • Engage with fellow entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and learn industry best practices.
  • Establish a network of contacts for both business and personal development.
