Enrollments are currently available for the 2024 One World Media Fellowship. This Fellowship targets aspiring journalists and filmmakers hailing from the global south. Whether working in film, print, audio, photography, or multimedia, fellows aspire to establish a career centered on reporting from the global south, aiming to raise awareness and dismantle prejudices with integrity and creativity.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Journalists and filmmakers poised to advance their careers in reporting from the global south.
- Individuals from all corners of the world. We especially encourage submissions from underrepresented communities (people of color, ethnic groups, women, LGBTQ+, or individuals with disabilities).
- 10 International Fellows will be selected.
Project Guidelines:
- Innovative and captivating non-fiction narratives from low- and middle-income countries across the global south.
- Suggestions for a brief documentary film, printed material, audio recording, or multimedia project
- We endorse small-scale projects that can be completed within a year – for films, this entails a duration of under 30 minutes.
- Projects that amplify the voices of individuals who are frequently marginalized.
