Applications are being solicited for the Next Generation Resource Governance Leaders Program (2024) of the Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP).

The Next Generation Resource Governance Leaders Programme is an internship designed to blend theoretical knowledge with practical application, aiming to equip participants with multidisciplinary intellectual growth, practical skills, and research capabilities necessary for addressing complex governance issues innovatively. Moreover, the program serves as a means to cultivate a pipeline of young pan-African leaders, ensuring a sustainable approach to good governance.

At the heart of our endeavor is the objective to train and mentor young individuals within a conducive work environment through a structured capacity-building process. This process encompasses training in transformational leadership development, professional growth, career advancement, and proficiency in digital communication and technology. Beyond the technical aspects of resource governance, interns will receive guidance and tools essential for establishing and attaining realistic personal and professional objectives, along with comprehensive and ethical leadership training.
