Although it’s understood that physical harm cannot be inflicted through a computer screen, it’s still essential to adopt a cautious approach to online activities to ensure safety. At SystemSpecs, we firmly believe that it’s possible to have a positive and secure online experience. Nonetheless, we acknowledge the importance of educating children about the potential dangers of online technology.
That’s why we invite you to share your insights on the 2024 theme: “Protecting the Nigerian child from the dangers of online technology” and explain its significance. Your perspective is valuable to us, and we eagerly anticipate your submissions.

Requirements:
Who can participate?
- Children attending primary and secondary schools in Nigeria, aged between 9 and 16 years old.
- The Junior category (ages 9 to 12) should submit essays of up to 1,000 words, while the Senior category (ages 13 to 16) should submit essays of up to 1,500 words.
Criteria:
- Your essay should be composed in the English language..
- Each participant is permitted to submit only one entry.
- Your submission must consist of original thoughts; plagiarism will not be tolerated!
- An endorsement from an accredited school official, parent, or legal guardian is required for your entry.
