In a world where education plays a crucial role in determining success, not every student has the privilege to pursue their dreams due to various challenges, with financial constraints being a significant factor. Recognizing this disparity, we have taken a meaningful step toward narrowing the educational gap by establishing a scholarship program for individuals aspiring to enter tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
As we are well aware, the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) is a pivotal stage for every Nigerian student seeking admission to higher education institutions. Unfortunately, many talented and deserving students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds struggle to afford the cost of JAMB forms, hindering their dreams of pursuing higher education.
Our goal is to sponsor 100 JAMB Forms for indigent secondary school students, each priced at NGN 6,200. Additionally, we aim to provide first-year scholarships to the top three highest scorers who gain admission to a public tertiary institution in Nigeria.
Benefits:
The selected scholars not only receive financial assistance to cover the cost of the JAMB form, but the top three scorers who secure admission into a federal or state-owned tertiary institution in Nigeria also receive a scholarship. This scholarship includes coverage for university tuition fees and a stipend for textbooks and other educational expenses. Moreover, students gain access to mentorship programs, workshops, and networking opportunities. The holistic approach of the Project Hope Scholarship Program aims to create an environment where students can thrive academically and personally.
