The Sigma Awards for Data Journalism have returned! Annually, the Sigma Awards recognize the finest data journalism worldwide. We welcome submissions from data teams, whether large or small, as well as individuals or freelancers, showcasing their exceptional projects from the past year. Your submissions are evaluated and reviewed, and the most outstanding work earns recognition.
Data journalism plays a pivotal role in elucidating intricate information about our world. Through the synergy of data, satellite imagery, machine learning, and astute analytical methods, journalists have uncovered war crimes, reported on conflicts, revealed money-laundering activities, visualized global warming trends, and more. We aim to spotlight the remarkable work of teams and individuals who continuously inform the public.
