Africa Matters Ambassadors 2024 Program: Empowering African Leaders for Change

Written by admin

The Africa Matter Ambassador Program (AMAP) aims to challenge the systematic challenges facing Africa’s future. AMAP offers a year-long virtual African leadership initiative. Successful applicants undergo capacity development training, build cross-continental networks, receive mentorship from industry leaders, and are guided through implementing Community Engagement Projects (CEPs).

Following the virtual program, a comprehensive 6-month evaluation process evaluates CEP progress and assesses the program’s impact on participants’ overall development as active community changemakers. Upon completion, AMAP Ambassadors gain a robust network of young African leaders and mentors, a participation certificate, a scalable community-based project, and newly acquired skills.

Requirements

  • The 2024 cohort seeks 20 young African individuals aged 18–29 from Ghana, Cameroon, Rwanda, Tanzania, Namibia, Angola, Malawi, South Africa, Tunisia, Zambia, and Sierra Leone.
