The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program, initiated by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, is designed to draw exceptional foreign students into master’s and PhD programs offered by French higher education institutions. The scholarship program is designed to train future foreign decision-makers in priority study areas.

The scholarship is awarded for the academic year corresponding to the call for applications, with the study period starting between September 1 and December 31 of the award year.
Requirements
To be eligible for the Eiffel Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be foreign nationals (applicants with French nationality are ineligible).
- Meet age criteria (up to 30 years old for master’s level and up to 35 years old for Ph.D. level).
- Apply through French educational establishments.
- Not be recipients of other French government scholarships.
- Ensure their language skills meet course requirements.
- Follow specific scholarship timelines based on the level of study.
Application Procedure
- Contact the Campus France office or the French Embassy’s Cooperation and Culture Office in your country.
- Seek admission at a French educational institution or research organization.
- Inform them of your interest in the Eiffel scholarship.
- The educational institution supports your application and submits it online via Campus France’s website.
Applications submitted directly by students or institutions located outside of France will not be considered.
