The University of Cambridge, in collaboration with The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme, is delighted to announce the commencement of the application process for the academic year 2024-2025.
The program at the University of Cambridge is intended to give fully funded opportunities for bright African students to finish their master’s degrees, grow in transformational leadership, and contribute to climate resilience and sustainability in Africa and the globe at large.
Except for the following business courses, the program provides scholarships throughout the whole range of disciplines in Cambridge: Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Corporate Law (MCL), and Master of Finance (MFin).
Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for this scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship: You must hold citizenship in an African country.
- Residence: You must be a resident of an African country unless you can provide evidence of a temporary absence for educational or work purposes with a clear intention to return, or in the case of displacement.
- Course of Study: You must be applying for a Master’s program with a duration of up to one year at the University of Cambridge.
The Application Procedure

The financing application is integrated into the course application procedure.
Prospective students will be requested to submit a supplemental statement as part of the application process, indicating their personal commitment to contributing to climate-resilient and sustainable futures for Africa.
Timeline:
The deadline for submitting grant applications is December 5th, 2023, for courses with a December 5th deadline and January 5th, 2024, for courses with a January 5th deadline.
