Job Description:

The prospective candidate will contribute to business development and branch sales plans to achieve desired profitability, foster a productive, value-producing relationship between the Bank and customers, and assist Business Development Managers in growing a portfolio of profitable customers in pursuit of specific sales, service, growth, and opportunity targets.

Responsibilities

Sales management:

  • Implement a branch sales plan that is responsive to local market conditions to meet sales objectives. This involves having product expertise, cross-selling, and being current on changes and advancements in the local market/area to promote optimal accomplishment sales potential.
  • Ensure daily meetings with the sales team (RMO and MA) to evaluate the previous day and prepare for the upcoming week.
  • Manages and maintains existing business connections while seeking new clients through sales.
  • Actively participate in creating and sustaining a pleasant sales environment by educating customers about the Bank’s goods and services. Engage in business development operations and solicitation of new business.

Risk management:

  • Ability to determine an acceptable amount of lending risk in accordance with the Bank’s risk appetite statement and maximize profit from the transaction.
  • Follow the Bank’s complaint resolution process to rectify the issue, maintain our high service standards, and reduce future risks/losses.
  • Reduce risks by adhering to KYC compliance in accordance with bank rules and procedures in all of your activities to reduce fraud losses.
  • Discuss loan terms and conditions, as well as conduct collateral risk analysis to verify compliance with the Bank’s rules and procedures.

Financial management:

  • Extract and analyze financial statements, cash flow predictions, and other complicated financial records to provide an accurate assessment.
  • Perform prequalification evaluation and analysis of the financial state and risk associated with requests for assistance inside the scope of the Bank’s credit culture and current economic and industry trends.
  • Analyze new client financial statements and any loan paperwork.
  • Contributes to the expansion of deposits, loans, and overdrafts in order to boost the branch’s profitability.

Customer service:

  • Delivers and maintains consistent customer service standards in order to improve service delivery.

Management of people:

  • Collaborate with colleagues in the branch to provide excellent support and service.
  • Contribute to the growth of a good and proactive Safety and Well-being culture, including compliance with all safety and well-being standards.
  • Model and embody the Bank’s values while complying with all company HR standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
  • 5 years minimum of commercial business experience with a reputable bank or financial institution.
