The UM6P and EPFL have begun a program called ‘100 Ph.D.s for Africa’ in 2023. This initiative is intended for students who want to get their doctoral degrees from an African university. The purpose of the program is to provide financial support to recent graduates in the fields of science and engineering so that they can improve their research abilities by working with EPFL academics.
The following requirements must be met in order for you to be eligible for this program:
- to be a citizen of a country that is located in Africa.
- Either be in possession of a Master’s degree that was conferred after January 1, 2020, or be enrolled in the master’s program’s last year of study.
- to have a stellar record of achievement in one’s intellectual pursuits
- to be a student at a school located on the African continent and to make your home in a nation on the African continent for the entirety of your doctoral studies.
African countries are eligible for membership.

The African school where they studied will confer the degree on them.
Awards Given Out: 100
