Job Description
This position is accountable for providing professional service to clients and patients while adhering to standard operating procedures and policies.
Duties Summary
- Drug distribution activities
- Give medication information and recommendations to other hospital staff members.
- Offer professional assistance, information, counseling, and guidance to patients about the medications they are given.
- Correct prescription endorsement for billing reasons, as well as proper medicine distribution to diverse patient groups.
- Keep the drugstore clean and safe at all times.
- Inventory Control.
- Report medication mistakes and harmful drug reactions.
- Adherence to quality standards and conformity to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Examine each prescription or order to confirm that the drug is appropriate for the patient and his or her clinical needs.

- Immediate notification of dispensing mistakes and bad medication responses.

Qualifications for the Position
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
- Provisional registration certificate from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria
- Provisional registration certificate from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria
