Entries are hereby invited for The Nigeria Prize for Literary Criticism, an annual award sponsored by Nigeria LNG to recognize the author of the finest critical work. In a bid to promote literary criticism, the Advisory Board of The Nigeria Prize for Literature will grant USD 10,000 to the author of the most outstanding critical work.
This year, the competition focuses on the Children’s Literature genre.
Submission Guidelines:
- All interested individuals must submit their entries along with a completed application form, which can be obtained online from The Nigeria Prizes website, www.thenigeriaprizes.org.
- Completed application forms must be printed and submitted alongside the entries. For further submission details, please visit www.thenigeriaprizes.org.
- Each applicant is required to submit three (3) literary criticism works focusing on Children’s Literature for consideration.
- The prize will be conferred solely on the basis of excellence.
Announcement and Public Presentation of Winner:
- The winner(s), if any, will be announced and honored in October 2024.
Closing of Entries:
- All entries must be submitted by Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024. Submissions arriving after this date will not be reviewed.
