Applications are currently being accepted for scholarships available to candidates residing outside the UK: specifically for the A.S. Hornby Educational Trust scholarships for the 2024/25 study programs. The trust places a high priority on strengthening English language teaching capabilities in low- and middle-income nations. It grants Master’s degree scholarships to educators and related professionals who have demonstrated experience and potential to positively impact and improve English language teaching and learning in their home countries.
Requirements:
The scholarships will be granted to academically proficient and experienced applicants who are nationals of and employed in low- and middle-income countries as per the OECD DAC list (accessible here).
Benefits:
Up to ten (10) fully funded scholarships are available, which include a full fee waiver and a minimum maintenance payment of £15,500 for the academic year. These scholarships are open to students who meet the University of Exeter’s admission criteria for the MEd TESOL Programme for entry in September 2024.
Kindly be aware that this scholarship is exclusively applicable to the University of Exeter’s MEd TESOL program and does not extend to PGCert or PGDip programs of study.
The Hornby Trust is pleased to collaborate with the University of Exeter for these scholarships, and the assessment of all applicants will be conducted jointly by the University of Exeter and the Hornby Trust.
