RLabs Nigeria and Study Access Alliance have joined forces to provide three-year online Bachelor’s Degree scholarships through IU, the International University of Applied Sciences. These scholarships encompass programs in Data & IT, as well as Business & Management.
RLabs, in collaboration with UNICEF and Generation Unlimited, is backing the Study Access Alliance (SAA), an initiative offering scholarships to financially disadvantaged students across African nations, with support from their Yoma program.
Recipients of these scholarships will have the opportunity to earn a globally recognized bachelor’s degree online through SAA’s founding academic partner, IU International University of Applied Sciences (IU) – which happens to be Germany’s largest university.
Benefits include:
- The RLabs Online Undergraduate Scholarship will cover the full costs of online education for all successful candidates.
- With an initial target set at 2,000 scholarships by the conclusion of 2024, this endeavour aspires to reach a total of 10,000 scholarships for young Africans.
- SAA scholarships are particularly geared towards supporting young women pursuing bachelor’s degrees in IT and technology.
Requirements
In order to be eligible for the RLabs Online Undergraduate Scholarship for undergraduates, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- Possession of WAEC/NECO/GCE (O Level & A Level)/Diploma/BSc Certificate
- Enrollment on YOMA and Zlto platforms
- Access to a computer and WiFi co
- nnection
- Commitment to a 3-year duration
- Presentation of a valid ID/Passport (front and back if ID card)
- Citizenship and residency in an African country
