Applications are currently being accepted for the African Liberty Writing Fellowship Program. This year-long initiative is tailored to educate and empower young Africans aspiring to careers in academia, media, public policy, or any field involving critical and analytical writing, particularly in the realm of opinion article writing.
Successful candidates will undergo a mandatory five-week online training, commencing on May 21, 2024, and concluding on June 18, 2024. Following this training, the most promising participants will be selected as African Liberty writing fellows. The fellowship program itself will run from July 8, 2024, to July 8, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in or have graduated from an African institution of higher education. Alternatively, they may be Africans pursuing advanced studies outside the continent.
