For anyone interested in pursuing a career in teaching and/or research at a higher education institution in Sub-Saharan Africa and in applying for a development-related scholarship, Stellenbosch University is presently taking applications.
The goal of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) In-Region Scholarship Program is to encourage the growth of higher education institutions in Sub-Saharan Africa that are robust, internationally focused, and have the potential to contribute to sustainable development.
Eligibility:
- The applicants must be residents of Sub-Saharan Africa, with the exception of South Africa, and they must have the intention of enrolling in a study program (MSc studies) offered by the Division of Molecular Biology and Human Genetics.
- It is essential for applicants that they have graduated from high school and have a proven track record of academic success.
- Candidates are anticipated to possess a solid grasp of the English language.
- Africa is one of the continents that might apply.
